Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead experiments with superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum architectures
- Collaborate with AI teams to hybridize quantum-classical machine learning models
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and secure government/industry funding
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum error correction
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research
- Experience with cryogenic systems or photonic quantum hardware preferred
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
