Responsibilities

- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE/APS conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional AI integration teams
- Secure $5M+ in government grants and venture capital for quantum initiatives
- Drive partnerships with NASA and DARPA for space-exploration quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years postdoctoral experience
- Published peer-reviewed research in Nature/Science journals on quantum coherence
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum circuit optimization frameworks
- Proficiency in cryogenic engineering and quantum measurement techniques
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ-era limitations
- Strong track record of securing DoE or NSF quantum research funding
- Experience with tensor network simulations for quantum many-body systems
- Clearance for DOE Q-NET collaboration preferred
