Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability research
- Publish findings in Nature/Science journals and industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming techniques
- Secure patents for novel quantum applications
- Analyze quantum supremacy benchmarks against classical systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum assembly languages
- Published work in quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
