Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems in AI and cryptography
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into existing cloud infrastructure
- Lead experimental research using quantum simulators and prototype quantum processors
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through quantum computing hackathons
- Secure patents for novel quantum methodologies and hardware optimizations
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum system reliability
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and classical high-performance computing
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and tensor networks
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in machine learning and parallel computing architectures
