Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum computing experiments using advanced superconducting qubit platforms
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation challenges
- Lead quantum error correction research to achieve fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum software with next-generation quantum processors
- Publish research in leading quantum computing journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
- Secure research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Quantum Information, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience with superconducting qubits
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing
- Demonstrated ability to publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with experimental quantum physics and low-temperature systems
