Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype quantum solutions for real-world problems
- Conduct advanced research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at international conferences
- Lead experimental validation of quantum circuits using industry-leading hardware platforms
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with emerging quantum architectures
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to lab's intellectual property strategy
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of peer-reviewed publications in quantum computing
- Expertise in at least one classical programming language (Python, C++, or Julia)
- Familiarity with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
