Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy protocols using superconducting systems
- Collaborate with AI teams to develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents in quantum information science
- Mentor junior researchers and present findings at industry conferences
- Secure and manage research partnerships with quantum hardware providers
- Contribute to roadmap development for 2026 quantum computing ecosystem integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant architectures
- Expertise in quantum simulation and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic quantum computing
- Proven ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
