Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead research teams in quantum simulation for drug discovery and materials science
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to advance qubit stability and scalability
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent quantum computing innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Present findings at international quantum computing conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
