As a key member of our Future Technologies division, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, quantum physicists, and software pioneers to architect systems capable of solving previously impossible problems. Your work will directly impact breakthroughs in drug discovery, climate modeling, and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable quantum communication networks across US data centers
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.99% reliability
- Lead R&D on quantum error correction protocols for 2026-era hardware
- Develop security frameworks for quantum-resistant cryptography implementation
- Optimize qubit coherence times using cryogenic and photonic solutions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across physics, engineering, and AI divisions
- Create quantum-computing-as-a-service (QCaaS) blueprints for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing infrastructure or supercomputing architecture
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Proficiency with cryogenic systems and photonic quantum processors
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance networking
- Security clearance eligibility (DoD/NASA projects)
