Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems by 2026
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum optimization frameworks for enterprise applications
- Lead implementation of quantum-resistant encryption protocols across global networks
- Create fault-tolerant quantum memory systems with >99.9% fidelity
- Architect cryogenic control systems supporting room-temperature quantum processors
- Establish quantum-safe communication protocols for distributed quantum networks
- Drive R&D for photonic quantum computing interfaces and quantum sensors
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 8+ years in high-performance computing or quantum systems architecture
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and topological qubit implementations
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper, Qiskit)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy benchmarks and NISQ limitations
