Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for industrial-scale deployment
- Develop cryogenic control systems maintaining quantum coherence at millikelvin temperatures
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for real-world commercial applications
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing workflows
- Document quantum system specifications and create implementation roadmaps
- Collaborate with hardware teams to advance qubit stability and connectivity
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, or D-Wave)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting systems
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
