Job Description
Join Nexus Dynamics at the forefront of technological evolution as we pioneer quantum-resistant infrastructure for 2026 and beyond. We're seeking a visionary Quantum Infrastructure Engineer to architect next-generation systems that will define the digital frontier. This role combines cutting-edge quantum computing principles with practical implementation in high-stakes environments.
In this pivotal position, you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates, quantum physicists, and security architects to build systems immune to quantum decryption. You'll work in our state-of-the-art Austin lab, where breakthroughs in quantum-resistant cryptography become industry standards. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of theoretical physics and scalable engineering.
Responsibilities
- Design quantum-resistant cryptographic systems using lattice-based and hash-based cryptography
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructure for enterprise-scale applications
- Implement post-quantum security protocols in distributed systems and blockchain networks
- Lead deployment of quantum-safe communication channels across global data centers
- Develop simulation frameworks for quantum attack scenarios and mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum-resistant algorithm implementations
- Author whitepapers on quantum transition roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Cryptography, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years implementing post-quantum cryptographic standards (NIST PQC candidates)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in C++/Python with low-level system programming
- Experience with quantum simulators (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti)
- Deep understanding of quantum supremacy implications and threat models
- Certification in quantum security (e.g., Quantum Security Professional)
