Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and monitor the progress of care.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Perform direct patient care, including wound dressing changes, IV therapy administration, and vital sign monitoring.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, post-discharge care, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in a hospital or medical surgical setting preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing priorities.
