Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain a clean, organized, and appealing store appearance.
- Handle customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies with patience and knowledge.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or damages to management promptly.
- Assist with store operations, including opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the sales floor and break areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs with or without assistance.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and transactions.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
