Responsibilities
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead the architectural design and development of advanced AI models for Project 2026, focusing on scalability and efficiency.
- Define Roadmaps: Create and communicate a clear technical vision and roadmap for future AI capabilities to stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Optimize Performance: Oversee the deployment, tuning, and optimization of deep learning models in production environments to ensure high throughput and low latency.
- Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performance engineering culture by mentoring junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews, and establishing best practices.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Experience with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges and design systems that are resilient and extensible.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
