Responsibilities
- Research & Development: Lead the design and implementation of novel generative AI architectures and training methodologies.
- Model Optimization: Drive research into efficient model inference, fine-tuning, and quantization strategies to reduce latency and costs.
- RAG Pipelines: Architect robust Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems to enhance factual accuracy and reduce hallucinations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and design to translate research into scalable production applications.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior researchers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the AI lab.
- Publications: Contribute to high-impact academic conferences and journals to establish our thought leadership in the AI community.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), or computer vision.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Strong understanding of transformer architectures, diffusion models, or reinforcement learning.
- Tools: Experience with Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, Vector Databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), and MLOps pipelines.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex technical challenges and iterating rapidly in fast-paced environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
