Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying critical inflection points across technology, markets, and society
- Lead scenario planning initiatives to model future business environments and prepare adaptive strategies
- Conduct cutting-edge research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their disruptive potential
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and executive teams to integrate future insights into innovation roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present future-focused insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and executive briefings
- Champion a culture of strategic foresight across the organization through training and workshops
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) strongly preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
- Ability to translate complex future concepts into actionable business priorities
