InnovateNext Global is seeking a visionary Senior Futurist to architect our 2026 technology roadmap. As a pivotal member of our innovation team, you'll decode emerging trends across AI, biotech, and quantum computing to shape products that redefine industries. This hybrid role blends strategic foresight with hands-on prototyping in our Austin innovation lab, where you'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and startup founders to build the future—today.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for disruptive technologies impacting 2026 global markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for C-suite stakeholders
- Design and validate 18-month innovation sprints in our FutureWorks lab
- Produce quarterly trend briefings for Fortune 500 clients
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers and designers
- Secure partnerships with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two domains: AI ethics, synthetic biology, or quantum computing
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Published author in HBR, MIT Tech Review, or similar outlet
- Proficiency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
