- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite and key stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-focused solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and present at global forums
- Establish KPIs for innovation pipeline and track progress against 2026 milestones
- Manage a $5M annual R&D budget for experimental initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in AI, biotech, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-building capabilities
- Published author in futurism or innovation thought leadership
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 5+ year horizons
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
