Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligning with organizational vision and market forecasts
- Facilitate C-level workshops on future scenarios and disruptive technology adoption
- Build and maintain a global network of academic, industry, and governmental futurists
- Translate complex trend analysis into actionable business strategies and investment priorities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype 2026-ready solutions
- Publish thought leadership on future technologies in industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Exceptional facilitation skills for executive-level scenario planning sessions
- Published research or patents in future technologies or strategic innovation
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Ability to communicate complex futures concepts to diverse stakeholders
