Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to generate and evaluate future concepts
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Oversee pilot projects for emerging technologies with $5M+ budgets
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic, industry, and startup partnerships
- Author thought leadership publications on future tech trajectories
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech firms
- Proven expertise in foresight methodologies (e.g., scenario planning, Delphi technique)
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains: AI, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology
- Experience with technology commercialization and market entry strategies
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio of published futurist work or executed innovation projects
