Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological and societal trends to identify disruptive opportunities through horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks that inform long-term product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing initiatives and risk mitigation
- Produce high-impact reports and visualizations translating complex foresight data into executive insights
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and systemic trend mapping methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or market strategies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal megatrends
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex insights to C-suite audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight organizations) preferred
