Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions to inform strategic planning
- Develop and publish forward-looking scenario models and trend impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development and innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board committees
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership content positioning Horizon Dynamics as a future-shaping entity
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field preferred
- Experience developing and implementing organizational foresight programs
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
