Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to identify strategic opportunities for 2026
- Develop comprehensive foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development and corporate strategy
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations for executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and innovation hubs
- Advise leadership on emerging risks and disruptive threats to organizational resilience
- Mentor junior strategists to build organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies with measurable ROI
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing trajectories
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
