Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology adoption curves
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for AI governance and ethical deployment
- Produce scenario-planning models for quantum computing commercialization
- Design innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDG 2030 targets
- Coordinate with C-suite executives to integrate futurist insights into corporate strategy
- Author thought leadership publications for industry white papers and TED Talks
- Manage cross-functional 'Future Labs' with R&D, product, and marketing teams
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of developing successful 5-10 year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning tools
- Experience presenting to executive boards and government stakeholders
- Published research on technological singularity or societal tipping points
- Certification in Strategic Foresight from WFS or APF preferred
