Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce actionable scenario-planning reports for executive decision-making
- Establish KPIs and measurement systems for innovation pipeline maturity
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Present future-state vision to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate organizational foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership
- Proven track record translating futuristic concepts into market-ready products
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend extrapolation
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, quantum computing
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurist or innovation publications
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful 5+ year strategic implementations
