Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year trend forecasting initiatives for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2030+ market disruptions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and board members
- Design and execute horizon-scanning methodologies using proprietary AI tools
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-state business models
- Publish thought leadership in industry journals and at global forums
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive analytics and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of delivering trend-based executive recommendations
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning and predictive modeling frameworks
- Published research in peer-reviewed futurist or technology journals
- Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 clients on long-term transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred)
