Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government bodies, and industry think tanks
- Produce high-impact reports and executive briefings on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech convergence)
- Design and implement human-centered innovation methodologies for future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Champion ethical technology adoption and sustainable development principles across all strategic initiatives
- Mentor junior futurists and build a world-class foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field; PhD preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario development and systemic thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into actionable strategies
- Track record of influencing C-suite decisions through data-driven future insights
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
