Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies, regulatory shifts, and societal transformations impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership, translating complex future scenarios into executable roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing innovation initiatives aligned with 2026 vision and market disruption forecasts
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks through data modeling, scenario planning, and predictive analytics
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, research labs, and think tanks to maintain competitive foresight advantage
- Author compelling future-state narratives that inspire organizational alignment and stakeholder buy-in
- Maintain proprietary foresight databases and continuously validate strategic assumptions against real-time market feedback
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent advanced certification
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or executive futurism roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and other foresight methodologies
- Deep technical understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated ability to present complex future concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futures research or strategic innovation (peer-reviewed journals, industry whitepapers)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Palisade DecisionTools, Causal Layered Analysis)
