Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, quantum systems, and AI to identify 2026-ready opportunities
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps with 5-year predictive modeling for enterprise clients
- Facilitate executive workshops on disruptive innovation and future-proofing business models
- Author thought leadership on metaverse, AGI governance, and climate-tech convergence
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, VCs, and academic researchers
- Translate complex emerging tech into actionable business strategies for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in our Austin Innovation Lab
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Expertise in at least three frontier technologies (quantum, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.)
- Proven track record of developing enterprise-level technology roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (whitepapers, patents, or keynotes)
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
