Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of complex J2EE applications using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and EJB.
- Oversee the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to SDLC best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize database schemas and SQL queries to guarantee sub-millisecond response times under heavy load.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to drive technical excellence.
- Implement robust security frameworks, including SSO, OAuth2, and encryption standards.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Drive the migration strategy from monolithic J2EE structures to microservices architectures where appropriate.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on J2EE technologies.
- Deep expertise in Java 8/17, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and Servlets.
- Extensive experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, SOA, and RESTful web services.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
