Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Algorithms: Design and optimize quantum circuits and algorithms tailored for our hardware architecture, focusing on error mitigation and coherence times.
- 2026 Roadmap Strategy: Collaborate with C-suite leadership to define technical milestones and resource allocation for our 2026 product launch.
- Software Development: Develop high-performance Python libraries and SDKs (using tools like Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane) to interface with our quantum processors.
- System Integration: Integrate quantum solutions with classical machine learning pipelines to create hybrid quantum-classical models.
- Research & Publication: Stay at the forefront of global quantum computing trends and contribute to open-source projects and academic journals.
- Mentorship: Lead a team of junior quantum researchers and provide technical mentorship on best practices in quantum software engineering.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust. Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and linear algebra.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in quantum computing or simulation.
- Tools: Familiarity with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Amazon Braket.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies and technical roadmaps.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders and investors.
