Job Description
We are building the infrastructure for the future. Nexus Horizon is seeking a visionary Senior Systems Architect to lead the 2026 Initiative, a cutting-edge project aimed at revolutionizing high-frequency data processing and next-gen AI integration. You will define the architectural standards that will underpin our products for the next decade.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between theoretical machine learning models and scalable, production-grade cloud infrastructure. If you are passionate about solving complex engineering challenges and want to leave a legacy in the tech landscape of 2026, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the core architectural strategy for the 2026 Initiative, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Lead the design and migration of monolithic applications to microservices architecture utilizing Kubernetes and Docker.
- Collaborate with AI researchers to optimize neural networks for low-latency edge computing environments.
- Establish best practices for code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing across distributed teams.
- Ensure compliance with data sovereignty laws and implement post-quantum cryptography standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical architectural reviews to foster a culture of innovation.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and container orchestration.
- Proven track record of designing systems handling 10M+ transactions per second.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Rust.
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MLOps pipelines.
