What You'll Do
- Lead comprehensive site audits to identify crawlability, indexability, and user experience issues.
- Optimize site architecture and internal linking structures to maximize organic traffic potential.
- Implement and monitor Core Web Vitals and ensure fast page load times across all platforms.
- Oversee the technical implementation of Schema.org markup and structured data for rich snippets.
- Collaborate with developers to resolve technical bottlenecks affecting search engine indexing.
- Stay ahead of algorithm updates, including Google's AI-driven search evolution.
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive technical audits using tools like Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and Google Search Console.
- Lead the remediation of site errors, including 404s, redirects, and canonicalization issues.
- Optimize mobile performance and ensure responsive design best practices.
- Develop and execute a scalable link-building strategy focusing on high-quality domains.
- Monitor keyword rankings and organic traffic growth with detailed reporting.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven experience in Technical SEO, with a track record of improving organic traffic.
- Deep understanding of Google Search Central guidelines and algorithm updates.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and server-side rendering technologies (SSR).
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and BigQuery for data analysis.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
