Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Present quarterly foresight reports to executive leadership and board members
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market demands
- Establish KPIs for measuring strategic adaptation and future-readiness
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Planning, Futures Studies, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate strategy
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFPS) highly valued
- Experience with AI/ML forecasting tools and data visualization platforms
