Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework for emerging tech trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops to map potential futures and identify disruptive opportunities
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate next-generation innovations aligned with long-term vision
- Produce executive-level trend reports and strategic recommendations for board presentation
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
- Build and mentor a high-performing foresight analytics team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, sustainable systems)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience in scenario modeling tools
- Published thought leadership in futurism or disruptive technology domains
- Track record of translating foresight into successful commercial outcomes
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures methodologies (e.g., from WFS)
- Experience scaling foresight operations in Fortune 500 or hyper-growth tech environments
