Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Architect and present the annual 2026 Strategic Innovation Roadmap to the board
- Lead cross-functional execution of moonshot projects with $10M+ budgets
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global labs
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure future-readiness and innovation ROI
- Present quarterly future-state briefings to executive leadership
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward adaptive innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or C-suite technology leadership
- Proven track record of scaling disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, clean energy)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD/MBA preferred)
- Experience building and leading high-performance innovation teams
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP, CFP) or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures to stakeholders
