Responsibilities
- Architect and execute corporate sustainability roadmaps targeting 2030 net-zero goals
- Lead R&D initiatives in circular materials, renewable energy integration, and bio-innovation
- Forge strategic alliances with cleantech incubators, academic institutions, and policy bodies
- Develop ESG reporting frameworks aligned with GRI SASB and TCFD standards
- Drive employee engagement through gamified sustainability challenges and innovation sprints
- Oversee $5M+ sustainability portfolio including carbon offset projects and green infrastructure
- Represent the company at global sustainability forums and climate action summits
Qualifications
- 10+ years in sustainability leadership with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Advanced degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Engineering, or MBA with sustainability focus
- Proven track record of launching circular economy initiatives reducing waste by 40%+
- Expertise in carbon accounting tools (Sapio, Watershed) and LCA methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging green tech: hydrogen energy, direct air capture, mycelium materials
- Experience securing ESG-linked financing and impact investment partnerships
- Professional certifications in LEED, SFP, or similar sustainability credentials
