Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including wound treatment, vital sign monitoring, and injections
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Handle patient intake and discharge procedures efficiently
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current CNA, EMT, or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care or similar setting
- BLS certification with current CPR credentials
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Valid Ohio driver's license and reliable transportation
