Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment (Forklift, Pallet Jack) safely and efficiently in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Load and unload shipments accurately to maintain inventory levels and prevent damage.
- Perform quality control checks and ensure proper labeling of products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production and safety targets.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required for many entry-level roles.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (loading docks) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new processes quickly.
