Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transfer products from delivery trucks to storage areas and vice versa.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correctly applied.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized, clean, and compliant with all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage or defects before processing.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders efficiently to meet tight shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable transportation method and be available for rotating shifts, including weekends.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and paperwork.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting and weighing packages.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.
