Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage merchandise using forklifts and pallet jacks to ensure accurate inventory placement.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records and perform cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity within the warehouse.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Licensure: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is a plus.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work weekends or overtime as needed.
