Responsibilities
- Operate Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and conveyor systems after completing our on-site training program.
- Packaging & Labeling: Properly package, label, and prepare products for shipment according to company standards and safety regulations.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels to prevent discrepancies.
- Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trucks using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring heavy items are moved safely without injury to personnel.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage during transit and report any quality issues immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all 5S standards.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We provide full training; a willingness to learn is the only prerequisite.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 10 hours), lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in packing and inventory.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for counting items and weighing shipments.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and willing to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
