Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload merchandise from trucks.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate inventory counts and maintain stock levels in the warehouse.
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and ship orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and warehouse protocols at all times.
- Organization: Keep the storage area clean, organized, and accessible.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff members.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification preferred; willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy.
