Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming shipments to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and electric pallet jacks.
- Quality Control: Perform routine quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before dispatch.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
- Stock Organization: Rotate stock to ensure older products are shipped first (FIFO) and maintain optimal warehouse organization.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is a plus but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
- Communication: Basic English reading and writing skills for safety documentation and team communication.
