Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing shipments, including bills of lading and packing lists.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for long periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable work history and be available for full-time shifts.
- Equipment: Forklift certification (if applicable) or willingness to be trained.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
