Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and shipping containers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, sort, and organize incoming stock and merchandise.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain Safety: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
- Communication: Basic English language skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, but not strictly required for this entry-level position.
