Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely load, unload, and stage inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate cycle counts and stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy within the warehouse system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to resolve issues.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and move around the warehouse floor.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) precisely.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable form of transportation and be available for scheduled shifts.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not required upon hiring.
