Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management software.
- Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move stock.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment to ensure 100% on-time delivery.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to 5S standards and safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Load Management: Assist in loading and unloading trailers efficiently during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet business demands.
- License: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
