Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control systems using RF scanners and warehouse management software
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations with cross-functional teams
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks
- Optimize storage layouts for maximum space utilization
- Train new associates on SOPs and safety protocols
- Generate accurate inventory reports and documentation
- Implement lean principles to reduce operational waste
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in temperature-controlled environments
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic mathematical aptitude for inventory calculations
